SEO overview

Google search, next to AI search: how your site does where people still type a query. Four tiles — Organic clicks, Avg position, Tracked keywords in top 10 (from your latest rank checks), Site health — What to do next, Google weather (how much Google’s results moved lately in your market), a daily chart of clicks and impressions, Alerts, You and your competitors, and Quick wins: the queries you are closest to winning. Customize puts them in your order and hides what you don’t use. Share report sends a read-only snapshot of it — see Sharing a report.

SEO

SEO on Vidrys is five jobs. It reads what Google already knows about your site (Search Console). It checks where you rank for the keywords you care about. It watches who links to you. It audits your site the way a search engine reads it. And it fixes what can be fixed one change at a time — titles, descriptions, canonicals, noindex, alt text, Open Graph tags, links that point at redirects or dead pages, and redirects — always with your approval, which you can give in advance for the changes it takes from the page itself.

What to do next lists SEO’s own next steps, best first: the site health checks with the most points at stake, the page briefs waiting for a draft or a publish, the keywords recommended to work on, and what Search Console found — pages losing clicks, searches rarely clicked for their place, and searches two of your pages split (see Organic traffic). AI visibility keeps its own list on its Dashboard; the two never mix.

SEO decides from search data alone — Search Console, rankings, the results page, your crawl and your backlinks. What AI visibility measures (your prompts, AI answers, its audit) never changes what SEO recommends, and SEO’s data never changes AI visibility’s decisions. The one place they meet is display: a prompt’s Signals panel and AI visibility’s action cards can show the search evidence for the same topic.

SEO alerts

On any SEO screen the bell is SEO’s own: what changed in your search data that deserves a look, newest first, each linking to where to act. Every morning Vidrys checks the data it already has — no extra reads — and raises each event once; an alert stays two weeks, and Search Console stopped reading stays until the reading resumes. AI visibility’s screens keep their own bell, and opening one never marks the other as seen. Nothing is emailed.

AlertRaised when
A tracked keyword dropsA rank check finds it five places or more lower than the one before, or out of the top 20 from the top 10.
A strong site stops linking to youA backlink sweep loses a link with an Authority of 200 or more (0–1,000, as on Backlinks).
Search traffic dropsClicks in the latest complete week are 30% or more below the week before, when the week before had at least 50.
A new critical site issueThe latest audit finds critical problems the previous audit didn’t.
Search Console stops readingThe sync is paused — access revoked or the property gone.
A fix fails or isn’t on the live pageA fix Vidrys published failed, or the live page doesn’t show it.
A page drops out of Google’s indexAn index check finds a page Google had indexed is no longer.
A competitor overtakes youA competitor ranks above you for a tracked keyword where it ranked below you, or not in the top 20, on the check before.
Google’s results turn stormyGoogle weather in your market reaches 6 out of 10.

Under SEO → Settings → SEO alerts, switch each kind off or on and set its threshold — the places a keyword must fall, the strength of a lost link, the size of a traffic drop, the weather score. The settings are the project’s, for everyone in it.

Your own overview

Customize lists the overview’s widgets: move each up or down and hide the ones you don’t use, then Save. The layout is yours alone, for this project — a teammate’s overview doesn’t change — and Back to the default restores the original. A widget added to Vidrys later appears at the end of your layout. Widgets that need Search Console wait until it is connected; You and your competitors shows once your competitors have been read on Competitors.

Google weather

Google weather scores how much Google’s top ten results moved since the day before, 0 (calm) to 10 (stormy), across about a thousand searches of every kind in your market — the same ones every day. A calm day sits around 1 or 2; an algorithm update shows as a spike. If your rankings drop on a stormy day, the cause is more likely Google than your site. It is measured for India and the United States, and the card shows only for a project whose market is one of them.

Nothing goes on your site. Search Console is Google’s own report of your property. The crawl reads your pages the way a search engine does. No script, no tag, no plugin — except the one-off ownership token described under Search Console.

Included on which plans

SEO is part of Track, Grow, Scale and Custom. Solo is AI search only. Each tier sets how many keywords you can track, how many rank checks a month those keywords can spend, how many pages of your site each audit reads, how many fixes a month Vidrys may publish, how many pages a month it renders for crawlers on a JavaScript-built site, how many keyword research searches you get, how many competitors are analysed, from how many places a keyword is ranked, and how many map-grid points a month local tracking reads. The figures are under Plan & usage.

On an agency account the monthly allowances — rank checks, research searches, fixes — are shared across the brands on it. Tracked keywords and audited pages are per brand.
